East Burke Christian Ministries is a small crises assistance agency located in Hildebran serving Eastern Burke County. Our main assistance is with food. We also financially with past due bills for power and rent, medicine and kerosene. You must live in the Eastern part of Burke County to be able to receive services from East Burke Christian Ministries.

Through collaboration with other community organizations, we strive to increase affordable housing in Burke County funding workforce housing construction projects and certifying families for eligibility; as well as negate homelessness by addressing our homeless populations needs together with community partners.
Addiction

New Season Treatment Center provides opioid addiction treatment and recovery services to Morganton and surrounding areas including Salem, Yellow Gap, Enola, Drexel, Valdese, Oak Hill, Glen Alpine, Icard, and Gamewell. We provide comprehensive outpatient care that includes all the services needed for opioid recovery in one low fee. Custom plans are led by a physician and adapted to each individual’s needs.
Healthcare

Good Samaritan Clinic is an interdenominational faith-based ministry providing medical care, dental care, mental health counseling, farm worker outreach, confidential HIV testing and counseling, ancillary services, and prescription medications to Burke County residents who are without private insurance, government assistance, or the financial resources to afford such care. No one is ever refused services based on race, gender, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation. Good Samaritan Clinic was founded on the belief that healthcare is an essential right for all, regardless of income.
